Mycotoxins are of growing importance to the farmer since the presence of mycotoxins in animal feed can have serious effects on the health and wellbeing of livestock and can have significant financial implications.

In addition, mycotoxin regulations for feed have recently been updated to cover a wider range of mycotoxins including deoxynivalenol, zearalenone, ochratoxin A, T-2, HT-2 and fumonisins.

To comply with these regulations there is a requirement for simple, fast and sensitive methods of detection. R-Biopharm have improved their test kits in a number of ways to meet these requirements. The new RIDASCREEN® 30/15 tests reduce the incubation times required to carry out mycotoxin analysis while the RIDASCREEN®FAST SC tests only require a single control making the test easier to use and cheaper to run. All of the tests listed below have been specifically designed for simple screening or laboratory use and are able to detect mycotoxins down to European Legislative levels for both food and feed.
