RIDA^®QUICK Aflatoxin (R5204), DON (R5904) and Fumonisin (R5604) immunochromatographic test strips have visual and semi-quantitative readout based on comparison with a reference card. The RIDA^®QUICK SCAN electronic test strip reader was developed to meet today's increasing quantification and documentation requirements. The reader can be used as a portable battery-operated mobile or as a stationary unit in a laboratory.

After incubation, the test strips are placed in the reader and read by an optical unit. Use of the reader ensures an objective evaluation of test bands present on the test strips. The recommended set which includes a portable printer and a 2D barcode scanner for actualization of new lots has the order number ZG5005-0.

Currently, the RIDA^®QUICK SCAN device can be used for evaluation of RIDA^®QUICK Aflatoxin and DON tests. It will be adapted for analysis of RIDA^®QUICK Fumonisin at a later date.
