The 'Cocktail' was developed by Prof. Dr. Enrique Mendez and is used for Gliadin/Gluten determination in food samples. The Cocktail-Extraction is described as a recommended method for the declaration of gluten-free food in the Codex Alimentarius (Alinorm 08/31/26). Until recently, the Cocktail Solution had been produced by the company Imbiosis in Spain. The acquisition of Imbiosis by R-Biopharm AG includes the licencing rights for the Cocktail production. Thereforth, we are able to guarantee our customers product availability and stable prices.
